I give Rubin 5 stars for the article's content and 1 star for the its title.

Italy has been eminently governable from Mussolini to, in fact, anyone passing out other people's money. But America has also been similarily governerable, from the Roosevelts, Teddy and Franklin, to the recent election of Obama. Just wave a sawbuck, EBT card, or Obamaphone in our faces and you'll get our vote -- nevermine the slipping away of rights, the tightening of the noose, the drones circling overhead.

History has a way of predicting the future.
