Open Letter to Gregory Mankiw, 7 December  (1)
Thank you for your excellent article in response to Prof. Mankiw, I often point out these errors as obvious, and I have far less wisdom than you. We live in a state of intellectual hubris where truths fall on fallow soil and a lie sprouts wings.
Keep up the good work

Things Have Changed  (9)
I enjoyed this article JHK, I been long expecting and have lived a full and beautiful life, but I raised my children to prepare and they are doing well in an always crazy world. We have maintained our 38 year homestead and still run a small craftsman building business. Be smart, be cautious and be handy with many skills. I proudly support your blog via Paetron keep up the good work.

Guess We Didn’t See That Coming  (6)
Isn't Putin's support of Bernie just a ruse? We know Bernie is unelectable by the mainstream, and if he is the Democrat's nominee it will only reinforce Trump's chance of winning the 2nd term as POTUS.

Who Moved My Xanax  (11)
It is an exploitation of the ignorant and uninformed population, but that is what happens when they pay attention to meaningless information and ignore the warning signs. The net result will be something of the nature of your beliefs and teachings, complete chaos, maybe not in our lifetimes, but definitely within this century of man.

Racism-O-Rama  (8)
It sounds racist, so it has to be. Overton Bubble at work, the faculty were programed to respond as if to a Pavlovian Bell. There is no way to change the mind of a man whose paycheck depends on not changing. I've been watching The Last Kingdom from the Bernard Cornwell books, which I have also read, anyway there you have a wonderful study of mixing races, religions and cultures, the losers, in the long game, a...

Whipping-Post Politics  (1)
I couldn't agree more, Keillor's dismissal was a bridge too far, but it is reflective of the fear, by Boards of Directors across the US, guiding these decisions as they are advised and directed by the lawyers they hired to tell them (we had to fire him the lawyers said so) what to do.
I really would like to know more, the burying of the body of work, any and all ties, reminds one of a traitorous spy's ex...

Not the Only One  (3)
Good analysis on regular midtown, just about anywhere USA. I appreciate your advice and direct comments, we all want a recovery, but an honest one is preferred. The Hunger Games deserves a comment, the teen readers understand better than the Fed.

Is the United States in a Liquidity Trap  (10)
The government body is being starved of calories, money flow, it lives on the largess of an over fueled economy, the people have become used to living on less. The government is like an overweight relative who doesn't understand that things are changing around them. The current system barely works at a full throttle economy, the slow down brings the weaknesses of our economy to the surface. Most folks aren't sa...
