Location of the Allemata Project
The Mt. Allemata gold project includes 15 named mineral occurrences, including Mt. Haluba, Ulo Ulo, and the Kaiyahedebadeba pistoltic gravel grid. The property is located at the eastern end of the New Guinea mainland, 20 kilometers southwest of Alotua and is approximately 243 square kilometers in size.
 
History of the Allemata Project
Since the 1970s, exploration has concentrated on the known primary gold/copper deposits at Ulo Ulo Prospect and Mt Haluba Prospect, which were mined in the early 1900's in the old Milne Bay Goldfield. The goldfield was proclaimed in 1899 and approximately 14,000 oz of alluvial gold were produced until 1926.
