The Project is located in Kern County, just south of Mojave, southern California.

| History of the Soledad Project |
|
The first recorded mining activity in the Mojave Mining District occurred on March 8, 1894.
Gold was produced from a number of mines over the years until activities were suspended by
Order L-208 of the War Production Board in 1942. The only exploration of note between 1953
and 1985 was undertaken by Rosario Exploration during the mid-1970's.
