Geology of the Jimblebar - BKM Project |
|
The deposit consists of two keel-shaped zones of supergene hematite-goethite mineralisation overlying a south-easterly dipping sequence of banded iron formation.
The deposit has several characteristics that are favourable for mining including low levels of impurities, a thin layer of overburden (0-26m) and minimal groundwater.
