Geology of the Au-Wen Project |
|
The east-west trending epithermal Hodge vein zone is within intermediate to acid volcanic rock and hosts white to greyish massive to locally vuggy quartz. IP anomalies were reported over the Hodge vein zone as partially due to sulphides of economic minerals in volcanics prior to Victory’s involvement, while those in the underlying argillaceous rocks are mainly due to widespread pyrite.
