The Hemlo operations consist of the Williams and David Bell mines, located in northwestern Ontario near the town of Marathon.
|

History of the David Bell Project |
David Bell is an underground mine developed through a 1,160 metre production shaft. Mining is by longhole stoping and Alimak methods with paste backfill. The mill is decommissioned and all ore from the David Bell mine is transported to the nearby Williams mill for processing.
