Location of the La Yesca Project |
The La Yesca project is located in southeastern Nayarit State, Mexico, approximately 100 km NW from the city of Guadalajara (population +/- 5,000,000) and 95 ESE
from the city of Tepic, the state capital (population +/- 400,000)

Geology of the La Yesca Project |
|
The La Yesca area is underlain by Tertiary age andesite and rhyolite volcanic rocks that are part of the Sierra Madre Occidental province which is host to numerous epithermal gold-silver mines and mineral occurrences throughout western Mexico. In the immediate La Yesca area there are at least 16 gold-silver mineral occurrences, of which 5 are past producing mines.
