The property is located about 15 km northeast of the hamlet of Desmaraisville, 125 km northeast of the town of Lebel-sur-Quévillon and 225 km northeast of the city of Val-d’Or, Québec.

History of the Wachigabau Project |
A gold and a copper-gold showing discovered on the property in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Three additional gold showings discovered through the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s. Significant exploration for diamonds within the region during the 1990’s lead to the discovery of the Le Tac and Lesueur kimberlite pipes (off property)
