The Noche Buena deposit is located in the state of Sonora, Mexico, approximately 270 kilometers northwest of the
state capital, Hermosillo.. The property is situated in the Sonora desert of northwestern Mexico and can be accessed by way of paved Highway #2 between
Caborca and Sonoyta, Mexico and then by a 27 kilometer dirt/gravel road.

The Noche Buena deposit was a known gold occurrence for many decades before USMX acquired the prospect in 1991.

Geology of the Noche Buena Project |
|
The deposit is localized along a significant northwest trending right lateral fault
zone, which is believed to be the same structural zone that hosts the nearby La Herradura
deposit. The Noche Buena deposit is contained in a block of relatively uniform, thoroughly
oxidized rhyolitic crystal tuff.
