| History of the Mt Monger Project |
|
The Mt Monger Goldfield was discovered in 1896 and has been worked almost continuously since 1916, producing ~400,000 ounces of gold from underground mines (80%) and open pits (20%). The underground mines have produced gold at grades of up to 95g/t, with an average reported grade of ~19g/t.
