Location of the Cordero Project
The project covers over 3,800 acres and consists of 268 unpatented lode mining claims acquired by Gold Canyon through lease agreements and direct location. Situated in north central Nevada, the Cordero Gallium Project is North America's largest known primary gallium occurrence.
 
Geology of the Cordero Project
The McDermitt Caldera is known to host world-class mercury deposits (now largely mined out) that rank this area among the largest producers in the western hemisphere. Also found within the caldera are large resources of lithium, uranium, molybdenum, antimony and smaller gold resources.
