Location of the Kidal Project
Oklo’s Kidal Project area occupies the western part of the geological region known as L’Adrar Des Iforas. Itis located in the vastly underexplored north eastern part of Mali, west African.
Geology of the Kidal Project
With an area of 19,930 km2 the project covers a large crystalline geological province known as L'Adrar Des Iforas that considered prospective for palaeo-channel-hosted uranium, alaskite/pegmatite and vein-hosted uranium. There are known occurrences of uranium, gold, copper-lead-zinc and manganese within the project area.
