The property is located 55 km south-southeast of the village of Ross River and 6 km east of the mill site for the former Ketza gold mine.
 
History of the STUMP Project
It was discovered in 1966 and has been explored at various times since then by bulldozer trenching, 1982 m of diamond drilling in 9 holes and 494 m of underground development on two levels.
