History of the Lavras Do Sul Project
Lavras do Sul, which means “diggings of the south” in Portuguese, was the subject of successive gold rushes in the 1880’s and 1930’s. It is estimated that about 350,000 oz. of gold were extracted during these gold rushes.
 
Geology of the Lavras Do Sul Project
The gold at Lavras is hosted in structurally controlled alteration zones. There are two known zones of mineralization, Butia and Cerrito.
