Location of the Abydos Project
Located 130km south of Port Hedland, the northern portion of the Abydos Project area overlies part of the Pincunah Greenstone Belt. The southern part of the project area overlies the Abydos Greenstone Belt

History of the Abydos Project
Previous explorers identified a 1km long by 200 m wide zone containing numerous outcrops of gossanous ironstone that assay up to 6.7% Ni. Petrology identified pyrrhotite in two of the samples of ironstone, one of which assayed 2.5% Ni. In one area the nickel-ironstone strikes discontinuously for 700m and is up to 6m wide.
