History of the Kat Project |
De Beers found the Attawapiskat kimberlites in the late 1980's and has recently concentrated its evaluation efforts on the Victor kimberlite, which, at approximately 18 ha, is the largest kimberlite in the area. De Beers is continuing with extensive studies investigating the potential to develop Ontario's first diamond mine.
