| History of the Kiniero Project |
Construction of the Kiniero mine was launched in 2001.
In 2002, Semafo began producing gold at its Kiniero mine in Guinea.
In 2006 the Kiniero mine processed a total of 458,500 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 2.7 g/t Au, producing 47,200 ounces of gold at a cash operating cost of $368 per ounce.
