The Tiger River Property is located in central Guyana, some 200 km in a straight line, SSW of the capital city of Georgetown and 10 km east of the village of Mahdia. It is 35 km WSW of the Omai Gold Mine owned by Cambior Inc.

The Tiger River property has been historically mined by alluvial miners over the last century and it is estimated that over one million ounces of alluvial gold has been recovered from the region by alluvial miners using non-sophiscated methods.
