The Company acquired the landholding in 1995 based on a similar aeromagnetic signature to the ETP, and with previous joint venture partners Newmont Australia Limited, commenced exploration in the region in 2002, employing a strategy of conducting cost effective and rapid surface sampling programs focused on outcropping to shallow covered low metamorphic grade terrane.
