Location of the Lamaque Project |
The Lamaque Project is located at Val d’Or, Quebec. The property lies immediately to the south of the two largest gold mines in the Val d’Or area, the Lamaque Mine and the Sigma Mine which have collectively produced over nine million ounces of gold.

History of the Lamaque Project |
From 1952 through 1985 Lamaque was the largest gold producer in Quebec. Lamaque underground mine, which is part of the same vein system as Sigma, produced 24.2Mt grading 5.81 g/t Au totaling of 4.55 million oz Au (closed due to low gold prices).
