Suramina Resources, through it's wholly-owned Argentine subsidiary, Desarrollo de Prospectos Mineros S.A. (Deprominsa), have the option to obtain 100% ownership of the property through payments totaling US$790,000 between 2003 and 2009. A final payment of US$2,000,000 will occur within 6 months following the second complete year of mine operations.

The Josemaria Project is located near the northern limits of Iglesia Department in northern San Juan Province, northwest Argentina, at elevations ranging from 3,900 to 4,700 metres above sea level.
