The Tampang project is located in Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo, 65 kilometres east of the state capital of Kota Kinabalu.

History of the Tampang Project |
Exploration commenced in 1996 under the 50:50 joint venture. Perilya is the exploration project manager.

Geology of the Tampang Project |
|
The project is located in an area that hosts a number of intrusive granodiorite to monzonite stocks, collectively referred to as the Kinabalu magmatic zone, and is 10 kilometres east of the Mamut porphyry copper-gold mine.
