Location of the Karakartal Project
Karakartal property is located five hundred kilometers east-southeast of Ankara, about 200 kilometers north of Malatya by road and 15 kilometers southeast of Çöpler.

Geology of the Karakartal Project
The prospect is a copper/gold porphyry with classic porphyry alteration. This area had never been drilled until the Rio Tinto/AMCL JV drilled 5 holes in early 2001. A complex series of sills, dikes and stocks penetrate the Munzur limestone at the edge of a steep scarp.
