Location of the Cumaru Project
The Cumaru project includes almost 36 000 ha covering the Gradaus mining licence with associated exploration claims and the Cumaru Garimpeiro Reserve. It located on Carajas region, the other being the famous Serra Pelada, 200 km to the north.
 
History of the Cumaru Project
Between 1981 and 2000, the Cumau district is officially credited with 1,5 million ounces of gold production at almost 3 million ounces.
 
Geology of the Cumaru Project
The Gradaus mine and many of the large garimpos located on the adjacent unexplored ground of the Cumaru Garimpeiro Reserve occur at or near the contact of the Cumaru Stock, an intrusive granodiorite body, with metamorphosed volcanic and sedimentary rocks of Gradaus Greenstone Belt.
