Location of the Collins Bay Extension Project
Collins Bay Extension is situated in the Athabasca Basin along extension of the Collins Bay Fault, the controlling structure associated with uranium deposits in the vicinity.
 
History of the Collins Bay Extension Project
The Collins Bay Fault zone is the controlling structure for the uranium deposits at the nearby Eagle Point, Collins Bay, and Rabbit Lake deposits which collectively contain a uranium resource of approximately 140 million pounds U3O8. The CBE covers over 25 km of prospective strike extension of the Collins Bay structure.
 
Geology of the Collins Bay Extension Project
Uranium mineralization occurs in the basement rocks, is generally near surface, has favourable metallurgy and competent host rocks typical of the Eagle Point Mine.
