The property is located approximately 90 kilometres south of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and 10 kilometres west of the Baie D'Espoir Highway

| History of the Huxter Project |
|
The original discovery of mineralized gold-bearing float on the property was made in 1998. Previous to this, the area had only been sporadically prospected. In the last several years, the area has become active in exploration for both gold and base metals and numerous new licenses recorded, principally for gold exploration.
