Location of the Ulaan Nuur Project
The Ulaan Nuur project (Licences 10928X and 11431X), located 330 kilometres southeast of Ulaanbaatar, was discovered in 1974 and is strategically located near the Ulaanbaatar - Beijing rail line.

History of the Ulaan Nuur Project
Limited historical drilling was conducted at Ulaan Nuur during the Soviet era, resulting in the definition of at least nine shallow dipping, stratiform bodies of uranium mineralisation ranging in thickness from 0.1 to 3.5 metres and grading between 0.03 and 0.184% uranium.

Geology of the Ulaan Nuur Project
There are currently three defined uranium anomalies and significant potential for discovery of additional zones. Historic Soviet drilling intersected multiple mineralized intervals grading up to 0.184% U3O8 in Cretaceous sandstones and volcanics.
