Amancaya is located 120 kilometers to the south west of the El Peñón mining operations in the Atacama Desert of Region II, Chile.

| Geology of the Amancaya Project |
|
|
The mineralization is classic low sulfidation epithermal consisting of trace amounts of galena and sphalerite in banded to massive quartz and chalcedony veins. Preliminary metallurgical test work consisting of CN leach studies completed on 135 kilograms of composite sample made from drill cuttings yielded gold and silver recoveries of 97% and 80% respectively.
