The Sandpiper/Meob Phosphate Joint Venture agreement was signed in October 2008 between Bonaparte (42.5%), Union Resources Ltd (“Union”) (42.5%) and Tungeni Investments cc (15%) now incorporating an area of some 8,000km2 in granted licences and licence applications covering the core of the regional phosphate province to the south of Walvis Bay.
