History of the Goz Creek Project |
The Goz Creek deposit was initially identified in 1973 and early work on the property included soil, rock and stream sediment sampling. In 1974, a 20 hole diamond drill program produced spectacularly high assay results and started a staking rush in the area. In 1975, a further 35 diamond drill holes were completed on the property. Zinc prices at the time were less than US$0.40 per pound.
