Geology of the EAGLE GOLD PROPERTY Project |
|
The Eagle Mine and adjoining Telbel Mine are on the south flank of the Harricana River sedimentary basin. This basin overlies the Joutel felsic volcanic complex which has an age of approximately 2,728 million years. The contact between the Harricana River sedimentary group and Joutel felsic complex is marked by an intense deformation corridor (Harricana Fault).
