Location of the Pascalis Project
Pascalis Project is located approximately 30 km NE of Val-d'Or, in Pascalis Township. It is easily accessible by road. The property is located to the east of the Bourlamaque batholith in proximity of the Perron, Beaufor and Courvan mines to the west and the Lucien-Béliveau (New-Pascalis) mine to the south.
 
History of the Pascalis Project
Very little work has been conducted on this property considering the presence of the Resenor showing with 181,400 Tm at 857 g/t Au located some 3 km west of the property and the Beaufor mine with proven and probable reserve of 1.1 million tons at 0.22 oz/t Au for 246,000 ounces plus a resource of 805,000 tons at 0.21 oz/t for 170 000 ounces (ref: Richmont Mines, 2003).
 
Geology of the Pascalis Project
The property is underlain by basaltic to ultramafic volcanic rocks of the Jacola Formation. A pyroxenite body of significant size crosses the central portion of the 5 claims block. The rocks are generally foliated to sheared and contain up to 15% inj more...
