The Kokomo scandium project is located within the Wairuna Formation, 60 km north-east of Greenvale in North Queensland.

|
|
Laterite has developed on an ultra mafic unit (which strikes for 16 km). High scandium, as well as nickel and cobalt mineralisation is best developed over a four kilometre area in the central part of the unit, which is referred to as the Central Plateau.
