The property experienced considerable exploration activity in the mid 1970’s and late 1980’s to early 1990’s following the discovery by Selection Trust (“Selco”) of a VMS deposit estimated by Thundermin to contain indicated mineral resources of 700,000 tonnes grading 0.4% Cu and 6.9% Zn.
