Location of the Arnold Project
The project is located 30 km west of the McArthur River Mine and 30 to 50 km north of the south rim of the Athabasca basin. It is composed of a series of 5 claims trending northwest and adjoining both CanAlaska's West McArthur and McTavish projects.

History of the Arnold Project
Previous work included airborne and ground geophysics, lithogeochemical surveys and lake sediment sampling. Work has been concentrated in the southern part of the property, with the northern areas having no known work.

Geology of the Arnold Project
The project group straddles the boundary between the Mudjatik and the Wollaston domains. Basement rocks comprising of Archean granitoids and Lower Proterozoic (Trans Hudson) metamorphic rocks are unconformably overlain by 700 to 900 metres of flat-lying Athabasca sandstones. An interpretation of aeromagnetic maps suggest a succession of domes and basins in the basement rocks trending NW-SE.
