The Russian Mountains contain several known intrusive-hosted zones of polymetallic gold-silver-copper mineralization, two of which were historically mined in the early 1900's. Gold-silver mineralization occurs in Late Cretaceous to Early Tertiary age volcanic-plutonic complexes.
