Location of the Carhuaz Project
The Carhuaz prospect is located at the village of Huellapampa, about 45 kilometres northwest of the city of Huaraz and about 30 kilometres northwest of Barrick’s Pierina gold mine.

Geology of the Carhuaz Project
According to Inca Gold, the geology of the property is made up sandstone/quartzite of the Chimu Formation and limestone of the Santa Formation, overlain by Calipuy volcanics, intruded by granodiorite of Tertiary(Miocene)-age. Zones of silicification and argillic alteration are found at the intrusive contacts with the sedimentary and volcanic rocks.
