Location of the Patricia Deposit Project
The Patricia deposit is located within the Bakouma deposit wich is located 4 km north of the town of Bakouma in the Mbomou district of the Central African Republic, 550 km east of the capital Bangui and 100 km north of the district administrative centre of Bangassou.
 
History of the Patricia Deposit Project
The Bakouma uranium mineralisation has been known since the early 1960s and was extensively explored throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
 
Geology of the Patricia Deposit Project
The geology of the northern part of the Patricia deposit comprises dolomite and limestone substrata overlain by brecciated, phosphatised Palmyra limestone or beige limestone. Coarse-grained sands and sandstone of the Mouka Ouadda locally overlie the carbonate units.
