Geology of the Yarumalito Project
The geology of the Yarumalito area is dominated by Tertiary age, andesite to dacite porphyry (granodiorite) intrusive rocks. Locally, stocks and smaller apophyses of these rocks intrude and mineralize the various sedimentary and volcano-sedimentary formations on the property. This sequence is covered by younger andesite flows and tuffs.
