Location of the Imperial Mine
The Imperial is located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, approximately 30 miles (60 kilometers) southwest of the town of Tonopah, and 185 miles (300 kilometers) northwest of Las Vegas, in the Railroad Springs mining district. The property consists of 22 unpatented lode claims covering approximately 440 acres between the Montezuma Range to the northeast and the Silver Peak Range to the southwest.
 
History of the Imperial Mine
The Imperial Mine ("Imperial") has a history dating back nearly 80 years, and has been estimated to have produced between 2,000 and 3,000 ounces of gold in the 1930's from high-grade quartz-carbonate veins. However, more recent exploration work suggests the presence of several significant gold targets with Carlin-style mineralization as well as the vein targets.
