Location of the La Verde Project
The La Verde copper property is situated in the Sierra Madre del Sur approximately 320 kilometres west of Mexico City. It consists of two claims, Capire and Unificacion Santa Maria, comprising approximately 17,000 hectares.
 
History of the La Verde Project
Copper mineralization was first identified on the Sierra del Marqués in the early 1900's. Mining on a small scale was undertaken intermittently for the first part of the 20th century. The La Verde property has seen new interest since the 1960's due to the global search for low grade, large tonnage porphyry copper deposits
