Location of the Collota Project
The Collota property is located in Northern Peru in the region of Ancash on the eastern side of the Cordillera Negra, (Black Range Mountains). It is 45km south of the city of Huarez in the same vicinity as the Pierina Mine. Elevation ranges from 4,100m to 4,600m and consists of six claims for a total of 1900 hectares.

History of the Collota Project
Compania Minas Buenaventura first explored the property in the mid 90’s completing a total 83 drill holes for a total of 5,500 meters. In 2004 Buenaventure dropped the claims discouraged by the price of gold. To date, there has been substantial surface samples and drilling, on one small portion of the property. This portion of the property contains 720,000 ounces of gold.

Geology of the Collota Project
The geology consists mainly of volcanic and intrusive rocks belonging to the Calipuy Group of the Upper Tertiary. The volcanics consist of tuffs, lapilli, ignimbrites, ash flows and dacitic-rhyolitic blocks. The particular geology is associated to gold epithermal deposits similar to Pierina and Yanacocha mines.
