Location of the Turmalina Project
The concessions are located in the region of Piura in Northern Peru and cover approximately 600 hectares. The topography is very rugged and elevation ranges from 1,000m to 3,200 m above sea level. The claims are easily accessed via paved and gravel roads from Piura to Canchaque Cross for a total of 172km.
 
History of the Turmalina Project
The properties were then abandoned until August 1961. Since then, several other mining companies have completed small amounts of work on the concessions.
 
Geology of the Turmalina Project
The rocks found in and around the area of the claims consist mainly of phyllites and andesitic volcanic rocks, which have been affected by a granodioritic intrusive. The phyllites are found in Canchaque, west of the claim. These phyllites belong to  more...
