Location of the Windarra Project
Windarra Project comprises 8 Exploration Licences, 3 Mining Leases, 6 Prospecting Licences and 1 Mining Lease Special Agreement covering an aggregate area of approximately 300km². The Windarra Project is located in the Mt Margaret Goldfield of Western Australia and is situated about 30km west of Laverton.

History of the Windarra Project
The project area has dominantly been the focus of nickel exploration, and as such is still relatively underexplored from a gold perspective. The majority of work conducted over the project area was by Western Mining Corporation (WMC) in the 1980s/1990s, and, although some gold exploration was conducted, nickel was clearly WMC’s priority.

Geology of the Windarra Project
The Windarra region forms part of the Mt Margaret Goldfield. Mafic-ultramafic, metavolcanic and intrusive rocks form the majority of the stratigraphy of the Windarra portion of the Laverton greenstone belt.
