The claims are owned 100% by MetalCORP, subject to a 2% NSR royalty interest retained by the original vendors of the claims, of which 1% can be purchased by MetalCORP at anytime for $1.0 million.
Location of the BLACK BEAR (RED LAKE) Project
The Black Bear Gold Property consists of 150 claim units (2400 hectares) covering a portion of the northeast extension of the East Bay Deformation Zone (EBDZ) in the historic Red Lake gold camp of northwestern Ontario
 
History of the BLACK BEAR (RED LAKE) Project
In November, 2003, MetalCORP optioned the Black Bear property to Goldcorp Inc. who spent $1.4 million on exploration work on the property over 2 years. Early in 2006 Goldcorp dropped their option thereby returning 100% of the property back to MetalCORP with several drill ready targets to test.
