The Black Rock Minerals JV is an incorporated joint venture with Noranda Pacific Pty Ltd (now owned by Xstrata following their takeover of Falconbridge).
Location of the Black Rock Project
The JV is exploring for base-metals in the highly prospective corridor running north from BHP Billiton’s world class silver-lead-zinc mine at Cannington.
 
Geology of the Black Rock Project
The corridor is host to similar “Broken Hill style” mineralisation at Cowie, Black Rock, Maramungee, Dingo and Fairmile prospects, all of which are contained in the JV tenements.
