Location of the CONSTANCIA Project
Constancia is located in the Yauri-Andahuaylas metallogenic belt where several porphyry Cu-Mo-Au prospects have been described but none have been exploited.

History of the CONSTANCIA Project
Mitsui and Minera Katanga explored the property in the 1980?s, completing a total of 48 drill holes for 5,430 meters. Rio Tinto entered into a Joint Venture with Mitsui in October of 2003, and commenced exploration in December 2003, completing 24 wide spaced diamond drill holes totaling 7,843.9m.
