History of the EL SASTRE gold mine |
There are no records of commercial gold production from the El Sastre Exploitation Licence prior to the involvement of Aurogin. A number of small pits, adits and trenches
have been noted. Much of this activity is thought to be Spanish Colonial (1500s to 1600s). Based upon the size of these historical activities, the historical production must
have been negligible.
