Lac Levac nickel deposit is located 216 km north of Chibougamau in the James Bay area of northern Quebec.

History of the Lac Levac Project |
Previous work on the Lac Levac property was focused in the area of what is now called the INCO anomaly (459,833 E, 5,728,564 N). The most recent work, performed in 1988 by Muscocho, was primarily aimed at developing the chromite mineralization within the ultramafic body and to the west of the nickel mineralization.

Geology of the Lac Levac Project |
|
The property geology consists primarily of paragneiss with metavolcanic interbedding, bordered to the north by the granites of the Lac Champion terrain. An ultramafic sill inserted in the gneiss beds contains the copper-nickel mineralization.
